The childhood tradition of the tooth fairy has entered the digital age with the launch of Tooth Fairy Tracker, a website designed to make losing teeth an interactive experience for kids growing up in a tech-driven world. Created by Oliver Finel, the tracker fills a unique niche: while Santa has long enjoyed online tracking, the tooth fairy hasn’t kept pace… until now.

The Rise of Interactive Childhood Experiences
Finel noticed the gap after building a personalized tooth fairy video for his nephew. Recognizing that today’s children are immersed in digital entertainment, he built the Tooth Fairy Tracker to provide a similar level of engagement for a milestone that many kids experience.
How the Tracker Works
Tooth Fairy Tracker centers around “Kiki,” a digital tooth fairy who guides children through a simulated tooth-collection adventure. Once a child loses a tooth, parents enter their email on the website, triggering a series of video updates throughout the evening. These updates show Kiki preparing for her journey, tracking her “flight speed,” and even including vlog-style check-ins and selfies.
The experience is designed to build anticipation, with countdowns for each video leading up to the final morning update, where children are congratulated and prompted to check under their pillow. Finel hopes this will also encourage better dental habits.
Future Plans: Personalization and Expansion
Launched in October, the Tooth Fairy Tracker is already planning expansions. A redesign is coming soon with “a more playful design and a few added details” to enhance immersion. By 2026, Finel plans a subscription service ($20 for six Kiki visits) that will feature fully personalized videos: Kiki will say each child’s name, mention their hobbies, and even include their photo.
The tracker also aims to go international, adapting to local tooth-fairy equivalents like the “Tooth Mouse” popular in parts of Europe and Latin America.
Beyond the Tracker: Partnerships and Branded Products
Finel is looking at dental office partnerships, offering the tracker as a way to ease anxiety before appointments or reward kids for returning. Long-term plans include branded oral care products, with Kiki appearing in videos to personalize the selection process for toothbrushes and toothpaste.
The Tooth Fairy Tracker remains free to use and requires no account, making it accessible to families who want to participate in this modern twist on a timeless tradition.
The Tooth Fairy Tracker is not just a fun tool; it reflects the shift in how modern parents engage with childhood rituals, leveraging technology to create memorable and exciting experiences.
