CNN Launches $7/Month Streaming Service: All Access

CNN is launching a new streaming subscription, “All Access,” starting October 28th. For $7 per month (or $70 annually), viewers gain full access to CNN’s live and on-demand content, including US and international news feeds, original series, and all articles from CNN.com.

What Subscribers Get

The service bundles together live news streams, a library of CNN originals, and exclusive programming. Key titles available at launch include:
Anderson Cooper’s All There Is Live
Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown
Kobe: The Making of a Legend
United States of Scandal with Jake Tapper.

Subscribers also get access to two dedicated FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television) channels for news roundups, deep dives, interviews, and films. The annual subscription is currently discounted to $42 for those who sign up before January 5, 2026.

Context: CNN’s Streaming Strategy

This move comes as CNN restructures its digital offerings under Warner Bros. Discovery. The company is consolidating its streaming presence, with CNN Max being removed from HBO Max next month. The All Access service aims to provide a central, direct-to-consumer hub for CNN’s content, rather than relying on third-party platforms.

The $7 price point is competitive with other streaming services, but CNN faces the challenge of attracting subscribers in a crowded market. This is a direct play for cord-cutters and news consumers who prefer a dedicated CNN experience.

What This Means for Viewers

The launch of All Access means CNN is doubling down on subscriptions as a core part of its revenue model. The service will expand the existing Basic subscription tier, which provides article access and mobile app features. This strategy seeks to capture more direct revenue from viewers while maintaining CNN’s brand presence in the streaming landscape.

CNN’s new All Access service represents a clear shift towards a subscriber-focused model, aiming to integrate all of its content under one platform and offer a competitive streaming option for news enthusiasts.
